After 6 amazing episodes of amazing tension, they dropped the ball on the last episode by dragging on.
Literally, the antagonist is surrounded and everyone just argues on what to do for an entire episode. Let me repeat that; for almost the entire episode they stay at one location. It killed the brilliant tension that was in the first six episodes. Felt like a tele-serial.
Should have finished it in 6 episodes.

They remind us about the sand snakes from GOT. Characters that are meant to add dimension but ultimately end up annoying and add nothing to the plot.
As for this season, since the concept isn't fresh it was dependent upon the pace and honestly it was slow. The concept of the games were nice but dragged on for so long that it lost steam. Out of all the games, Hide & Seek was the best one as it showed the main character being exposed to his dark side.
But bringing in a baby so the main character can show how noble he is was stretching it to a soap opera level and not needed.
But I am glad I watched it; though the freshness of the first season was lost.

This is a cash grab Die Hard ripoff attempt by Netflix, which is fine but seems like there weren't any attempts at script revisions. They simply went off the first draft?
Batemans villain was amazing for the first half especially when we only hear his voice. He is the perfect blend of condescending and menacing.
The problem is Egerton's character makes decisions that are reminiscent of the Dumb and Dumber characters do with their suitcase. The script was going off for the he always had the instincts of a cop but it goes the other way.
Then the illogical scenes with the Borat henchman in the van kept piling up. Perfect sniper aim at LAX from parking lot to the bagging area, chasing a woman in LAX parking in broad daylight, stabbing a TSA worker when everyone is watching.
Bateman should do more villain roles though.
