1. GENRE:
Who? Who decided to falsely claim this belongs in the horror genre?
Have you ever seen zombies - but they're actually confused, dirty, naked, attractive, moody, and horny desperate people?
DRAMA, simply put, and.. Mystery. Murder. Survival. Romance.
2. RATING: I did not expect this to be a 7... Maybe a 6,5. Taste differs, but I've never(!) seen a show written so sloppily. It keeps on changing details of the backstory and not making any sense.
How does a main character claim she died in 1998 (not 1988), suddenly a whole decade older than nineteen? Did the actress say wrong, or not care about how poorly written this is?
3. SEASON 3: Okay, wow. I completely disagree with these reviews.

3. SEASON 3: Okay, wow. I completely disagree with these reviews.
- Season 1 - Shockingly boring. Screwing someone's best friend, blabla, cheating, bla, pregnancy, blablabla.. Whiny, heartless and miserable.
- Season 2 - Meh..?
- Season 3 - .. Better. Some things will NEVER make sense... but there IS actually some cool thoughts behind the revelations, once the mystery actually gets somewhat uncovered. Wasn't worth getting there, but I'm happy that they FINALLY were focused on telling the story.
I didn't exactly enjoy this, but I didn't hate watching it either. At times it was kinda slow, especially in the beginning, despite how the zombie outbreak happened immediately.
I think I expected something more unique, perhaps in the form of a more raw desperation, up-close and personal angle, getting a bit more emotionally relatable. Scenes could reveal a bit more realness through the character. I didn't really connect in that way though.
...Maybe if more desperation had been shown throughout. The situation didn't seem as bad as it was trying to portray. As an example, he was probably starving a lot, but it didn't seem to matter much. And there's a lot of inconsistency in how dangerous the zombies are. Sometimes they're running around madly seeking to eat you up, but other times they'd kinda ignore what's going on, which made it feel like they were just actors in a theme park.
I thought it was a bit endearing and charming though, which caught me off-guard. I wasn't expecting that there's some sweetness to be found in this movie.
