Where do I start with this disappointment? Having been a fan of spirited away, I was so excited of this movie since it was rated 7.4. Oh...my...goodness, I can't even theorize how other viewers rated it so high. Even the ones who complained still put a 6 rating...?
The animation and imagery were nothing special. The some of the characters there were not easy on the eyes. There are too many cuts to new scenes and none of the conversations made any sense. The main character himself did not draw me in, and there was no sense of humor at all. It could've been the English dubbing that made things more flat, but I don't think it would've made much of a difference given the story itself still doesn't make sense. Really wish I had stopped watching after 10 min of slow and boring content. This is nothing like Spirited Away, so if you were hoping to delve into a new world and be entertained, you'd be disappointed.

The synopsis of Arthur's Law is about a down on his luck man, who lives in a small town and is in an unhappy marriage. Little did he know that on his 50th birthday, his life would never be the same!
Honestly the trailer does not do this show justice. Though the character Arthur himself is not "funny" or "charismatic" in a typical definition, he brings the audience along through sympathy and surprisingly brings us through his journey as he tries to improve his situation. This is dark comedy for sure, a bit raunchy and each episode was filled with twists and what the h*ck moments. Just when one thought, wow Arthur's situation could not get any worse, it did! (And left the viewers in shock). Not many shows make me laugh out loud, so I'm glad I found this one!

I came upon this show when browsing through ARD. The first episode already had a "oh my gosh" moment, so I knew it would be great. The show is super funny and the characters are great. Frank Stimpel is a teacher newly assigned to a school where the students are harder to manage and less than eager to be there. Each episode, Stimpel tries to improve things in his classroom, only reality doesn't play out as expected. The characters are SO lovely - each has their own personality and memorable quirks about them. This show was so good that to this day, I still quote some of the jokes from the show :)
