We know that nowadays there is a flood of movies and that most of them are quite miserable. But I prefer to watch older and equally legendary films. And this one always surprises me. It's true that it's not as good as the first part, but it still always impresses me. Let's go step by step. The story is wonderful, engrossing and addictive. In short, brilliant. There is definitely a lot of violence. Throughout the film, the characters use cold weapons and pistols. Characters die. A man drives a skewer into a man and kills him. Lots of rounds fired. They want to strangle Indy. Using Voodoo Dolls. Shorty Round the villains oretep and beat them with fire. A fight between Indy and some giant who at the end of the fight gets crushed by a roller, crocodiles tear the villains apart, a fight and a whipping. The horror is also much greater than in the first film. Children are slaves and they are tortured (people beat them with whips), Mola Ram rips out a person's heart but the person does not die, the skin of torn people is hung, people are starving, on the table in India they eat disgusting dishes such as soup with eyes, chilled monkey brains.. The man drinks blood and then writhes in agony. A man is being burned. The language is now in all films and includes swear words such as idiot, jerk, s**t... There is no sexuality, nudity mainly includes women who are poorly dressed, and the romance between Willy and Indy is at its peak. They talk about sex, lots of innuendo and kissing. Not much to drink, just a little spritzer and champagne. They poison Indy. There are no drugs or smoking. Many brands are associated with the Indiana Jones film franchise. In the film, women and men are presented equally. Just a couple of comments about how loud Willy is. Positive messages include the need to fight against evil and to work for the good of the people. The positive character is mainly Indy, who wants to destroy the evil satanists and return the magic stone to the villagers. So the movie is too good and you have to watch it with your soul. I'd put it at 13+ because of a lot of gore. Especially for families.
