With German animated movies from the 90s like "Werner beinhart", or the lesser liked "Das kleine Arschloch", I've expected another more vulgar attempt at an authentic view of the German culture around that time. While it still contains some toilet humor, it's not too much to be frustrating to watch and is pretty tame compared to something like "Das kleine Arschloch", wich is a bit refreshing to see, considering that this was a part of the Zeitgeist. The animation is nicely chaotic ranging from pretty smooth to kind of stiff, and interestingly coloured backgrounds, wich give off a nice, urban atmosphere along with the music throughout the whole film. The general Design of the film is pretty unique and pays tribute to the german capital "Berlin", wich is pretty entertaining to watch, if you're a german yourself. The big flaw of this film is its weird pacing, and the general simplistic story. While watching this film you're going to be entertained by the wild nature of the film but get dragged out a bit, when it comes to the attempts at the toilet humor, I've mentioned earlier and overall the mediocre story. But I can still say that it's a nice watch and a lot better than I first expected, even if it's still not a really good film by any means.
