We came out of this film smiling, with joy & hope. A tall order, given my husband's 2.5 yr journey with stage 4 prostate cancer & mine as his primary caregiver. The relatable story of Laurie's experience & that of her family, brought many in the packed theatre to tears. Ourselves included. The happy takeaway, is that nature provides medicine, helpful in the management of both physical & emotional suffering. An informative & inspirational perspective on how psychedelics must be made available to all. Ensuring compassionate & humane care, regardless of affliction. A must see for those coping with illness, caring for a loved one, or merely identifying as human.
