  • Well-made, informative documentary

A couple of the reviews here seem to have missed the point: 'Why are we talking about Royalty?' they ask. - Well it's because we live in a world where these people continue to hold real sway. Here we are, in a country which threw out the monarchy 240 years ago, and we can't get enough of them. (Just look at the hype over Harry and Meghan.) I'm a proud American not because we don't have a monarch and not because we obsess over other people's monarchs either. I'm proud because we are a country which asks questions: 'What is good and what is bad about monarchy?'; 'Is monarchy really so different from the rigged nepotism which continues to widen the wealth gap here at home?'. To answer these and countless more questions we need good journalism like this. Sure, you can watch this movie simply because you love royals, but can also watch it with a detached and critical eye. Either way it does an important job. It's one more great documentary out of the UK which show us our world and inform us so that we can answer these questions for ourselves.
