When they get it right, it's perfect. I lost count of how many times I've rewatched the first 3 seasons. They're perfect.

Season 1 (Murder House): perfect, absolutely perfect. 10/10

Season 2 (Asylum): wonderful, my personal favorite 10/10

Season 3 (The Coven): looove my girls 10/10

Season 4 (Freak Show): 6/10 I've never been able to sit down and pay attention to this season, for whatever reason it's boring to me, but it is Jessica Lange's last season so I'll give it a 6

Season 5 (Hotel): I actually love this season and have rewatched it many times, I consider it a 10/10

Season 6 (Roanoke): this one had to grow on me, but once it did it became one of my favorites 10/10. Kathy Bates is impeccable in this season.

Season 7 (Cult): Also had to grow on me and I personally wouldn't watch it again, but I still think it can get a good 7-8 out of 10

Season 8 (Apocalypse): loooooove the callbacks on this season, I love that season but if you're not a fan of the other seasons already you probably won't get the hype. 10/10

Season 9 (1984): I liked it. It's a very different format than the other seasons but I loved the theme they decided to lay on. 9/10 for me

Season 10 (Double Feature): now this one is a mess. This one did not feel like American horror story, and they needed to calm down with the alien storylines. This one is unfortunately gets a 4/10 rating.

Season 11 (NYC): This season was perfectly done, it just didn't feel like AHS. It felt like the subject approached was too real. It wasn't scary like "aaaah a monster!!" It was scary like a hospital bill, it seemed too real. So this season gets 8/10

Season 12 (Delicate): Now this one takes the cake for the worst season. My god, what a bore! I did not wanna be one of those people that complain about casting but... the acting was so bad ): and I'm not just talking about Kim Kardashian, there are other actresses/actors I won't name but they were worse than her. This season wasn't even bizarre, it was just same old but acted worse, if they make more, I really hope they start looking to earlier seasons for inspiration. 3/10.

This is the slowest paced show I have ever seen. I don't know what's worse, the false sense of urgency with the officers walking around like they've been working sooooo much while not doing anything really, or the amount of screen time wasted on useless details.

I started writing this when I saw the scene where they're taking the boy's fingerprints and they go through E V E R Y single finger. "Put your index here" "now your middle finger" "now your ring finger" "now your little finger" "now the other hand" "your index finger"... that was actually insane, it made me feel like I was stuck in a simulation lol I just can't believe this has so many glowing reviews, I really don't understand the hype, I'm bored out of my mind.
