One of the most successful experiment movie in Kannada It has been a refreshing experience watching this movie. The romance, characterization is at its raw best. I am glad that the director and his team did not do anything to dial it down. The performances have been great. We all know the story, but it has not been done before in Kannada cinema. In some ways, this can be called modern Devdas speaking kannada with realistic dialogues and situations . Without spoiling; the story is about the love story between a boy and girl and the realities of life one faces. Arjun's character is flawed. I must appreciate the director and crew steering away from the usual Kannada movie matrixes of the lead character in a perfect light. I am glad the character is flawed. There are several instances in this movie that shows us the flawed side of our hero. It works out well for the story telling. Rushkar Dhillon is as cute and sweet as she always is, the girl steals our heart with a glance . The 100 minutes running time looks perfect for the movie where I never found a single scene which is usually tagged as lag, if you like well crafted natural romantic drama movies this one may fell in your vicinity of interests, a good watch indeed .

Awesome story awesome direction,...all the reaction i cn explain is to b left with tears in my eyes! Go going marathi cinemas ,it was a very emotional moment to me ! 'A personal feeling attached'... hats off to all crew right from directer writer all to the single person who even least have picked a small stick during making of this movie! In one word, and so as to quite comprehensively encompass all crtical aspects of making a live, engaging, nuanced and true-to-life narrative film; SUPERB! A commercial film with a good thought is something a rare combination. Musandi is a winner in both angles.

Very rarely does a movie hook you from the first scene and this is one such gem. And it makes even more fun that i watched this by fluke looking at the interesting title, even though it had a not much popular cast and a so-called low-budget. But as we have seen often, the finest movies have come from little known small budget movies. Also rare is the genre of true suspense without distraction of garish masala and Iravan fits this bill of a real suspense thriller. No meaningless songs or comedy track etc to play to the gallery. Again, another rare for a Kannada movie. The Script and Screenplay are the super strengths of the movie. Hardly any dull moment, clever use of Setpieces and revealing just enough at the right time, keeping one step ahead of the viewer in the guessing game of what is really going on. And acting from the leads is excellent, matching the script. Also, the background score is wisely subdued. Overall, a must watch Kannada movie. Enjoy!
