  • Easy to watch

A comedy that takes humorous approach to the daily grind of life. Directed by Brad Copeland, the film revolves around a group of friends who spend their days working remotely from a local coffee shop, turning it into their makeshift office space. This unique premise sets the stage for a series of hilarious and relatable situations.

The film's strength lies in its clever and witty script. The dialogue is sharp humor that navigates between sarcasm and genuine warmth. The banter among the main characters feels authentic, making it easy for the audience to connect with their camaraderie. The comedic timing is spot-on, with each punchline delivered with precision.

The cast delivers performances that contribute to the film's charm. Josh Groban, as the coffee shop's barista, adds a quirky and memorable element to the ensemble.

The characters find themselves facing unexpected challenges, adding depth to the storyline. Amid the laughs, the film manages to touch on the relatable aspects of life, making it more than just a comedy but a reflection on the human experience.

Whether you're a coffee enthusiast or simply in need of a good laugh, this film is a perfect blend of humor and heart.
    Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story

  • Entertaining Experience

The film combines outrageous humor with an underdog story, creating a unique and entertaining experience.

Vince Vaughn shines as Peter LaFleur, the laid-back owner of Average Joe's Gym. His deadpan delivery and witty comebacks add a perfect dose of sarcasm to the film. On the other hand, Ben Stiller's portrayal of White Goodman, the pompous owner of Globo Gym, is pure comedic genius. Stiller's over-the-top performance and larger-than-life personality make for an unforgettable antagonist.

The plot revolves around Peter's desperate attempt to save his gym from foreclosure by entering a high-stakes dodgeball tournament. The tournament scenes are filled with high-energy action and slapstick comedy, keeping you engaged and laughing throughout. The supporting cast, including Rip Torn as the eccentric Patches O'Houlihan, adds even more comedic value to the film.

What sets "Dodgeball" apart is its clever writing and memorable one-liners. The dialogue is sharp, filled with clever puns and pop culture references that will have you quoting the movie for days. The film also cleverly satirizes the fitness industry and the obsession with physical perfection.

The chemistry between Vaughn and Stiller is undeniable, and their on-screen rivalry is pure gold. The comedic timing and improvisation between the two actors are spot-on, creating many laugh-out-loud moments. The supporting cast, including Christine Taylor, Justin Long, and Alan Tudyk, also deliver strong performances, adding depth to the story.

While the film primarily aims for laughter, it also carries an important message about teamwork, friendship, and embracing one's true self. The story reminds us that success doesn't always come in the expected package, and that even the most unlikely heroes can emerge victorious.

"Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story" is a comedy gem that will have you rolling in the aisles. With its clever writing, memorable characters, and uproarious humor, this film is a must-watch for fans of comedy and sports movies alike. So grab your dodgeballs and get ready for a laughter-filled ride that you won't soon forget.

  • Worthy of a sequel

If there was more comedy films out right now I may not have scored this movie so high. But I haven't watched many new comedies lately and Malibu Crush is a mostly funny movie on what looks to be a small budget with less known actors.

The story is very similar to what's been done in the past, "Guy likes girl so guy must find a girl to be happy in the end, however I did like what this film did to make the story more exciting and less original, - which was make it so that the movie is about comedy and the stupidity of the main characters rather than about the girl and a feel good ending for everyone.

The tone of the film is laid back stupidity, which if that is what you like then you will love this film, If you are looking for less funny but more believable story then I doubt you will like this film.

    It's 9/10.
