I think at one time or another we've all known a man like Craig. Self-centered, self absorbed, thinks he's everything to women and that life revolves around him.
At a party, Craig spies an attractive woman but before he can make a move, he's confronted by his ex-girlfriend who he dumped because she went through a difficult time that affected not only her well being, but her appearance as well. After not giving a damn what she said, Craig brushes her off to move on to the next woman. I won't go into spoilers but Craig gets what he deserves in a most unusual way.
I've read the short story for which this is based on and I will say it's a pretty faithful adaptation. I would say of the two short films based off the book anthology of the same name, I Wish being the other, Inner Beauty is the stronger of the two. Hope for more of these in the future.
On a side note, Cupidity, who introduces the story in a Rod Serling sort of way, adds a touch of charm and humor as an anti-Cupid who pops in and out as the story progresses.

Really enjoyed this love story, yes to me it's more a love story, revolving around a succubus who falls in love with depressed man. The acting is fantastic across the board, especially from the hot lead actress. I'm not much of a horror fan but it worked well into the story and the part where a character gets something taken off had me sitting there with my eyes wide open. I'm not going to spoil the final 10 minutes but it had balling like a little baby.
Great story for anyone looking for a good romance film. There is partial nudity and convincing sex scenes. There is one part where one of the actresses does a "When Harry met Sally" scene that was highly enjoyable.
