I had high hopes for Happiness Is..., but unfortunately, it was a complete waste of a budget. The film felt painfully predictable, especially with the lead actress (Stuurman) once again playing the same repetitive role of being in love, looking for love, or falling out of love. It's like she's stuck in a typecast loop.
The wardrobe was over the top and unnecessary, making it hard to follow whether scenes were taking place on the same day or at different times. It was visually confusing and just too much.
To make matters worse, a lot of scenes felt completely irrelevant to the storyline (if there even was one). I honestly couldn't figure out the plot. The script was terrible, and while a few characters tried to salvage it, the acting was underwhelming. Overall, I'm left feeling disappointed-yet again-by South African productions. They need to up their game.

The Honeymoon, starring Minnie Dlamini, Tumi Morake, and Kajal Bagwandeen, falls far short of expectations, leaving audiences with an overwhelming sense of disappointment and frustration. In this review, we will delve into the various aspects of the film that contribute to its lackluster nature.
One of the most glaring issues with The Honeymoon lies in the performances of the cast members, particularly the three lead actresses. Regrettably, their acting skills are not up to par, delivering performances that can only be described as extremely horrible. It is difficult to comprehend how the director, producers, or anyone involved in the background team allowed such lackluster acting to make its way into the final product.
The plot and story line of The Honeymoon suffer from being excessively predictable right from the start. There are no surprises or twists to engage the audience, rendering the viewing experience monotonous and unexciting. The movie fails to capture the essence of humor, and its attempts at comedic moments fall flat. Ultimately, it leaves viewers feeling like they have wasted their time.
Adding to the disappointment is the film's unclear target audience. It is evident that The Honeymoon does not cater to the South African demographic, and its scenes feel like mere reenactments of generic romantic comedy movies from the past. The lack of originality and innovation further contribute to the film's downfall.
One cannot help but feel disheartened by the fact that South Africa boasts exceptional actors, actresses, and directors, yet a movie like The Honeymoon is being presented as a representation of our local film industry to the world. It is an unfortunate misrepresentation that fails to showcase the true talent and creativity that South Africa has to offer.
In conclusion, The Honeymoon is an absolute rubbish movie that should be avoided at all costs. It lacks the necessary elements to captivate and entertain its audience, leaving viewers empty and unsatisfied. As a representative of South Africa's film industry, it fails to meet the mark and ultimately disappoints.

Title: "The Outlaws" on Netflix - A Disappointing Misfire
Introduction: "The Outlaws" on Netflix falls short of expectations, resulting in a disappointing and frustrating viewing experience. In this review, we'll explore the film's shortcomings and why it fails to deliver as an action comedy.
Analysis: Unfortunately, "The Outlaws" fails to generate any genuine laughs or memorable comedic moments. The humor feels forced, and Adam Devine's attempts at comedy come across as clownish and awkward. The film lacks the wit and charm that successful comedies possess, leaving the audience unaffected and unamused.
It's worth noting that the presence of acclaimed actor Pierce Brosnan in the cast raises expectations, but the film fails to utilize his talents effectively. His potential contribution is wasted in a lackluster screenplay that doesn't allow his skills to shine.
Furthermore, the overall plot and storytelling in "The Outlaws" feel disjointed and poorly executed. The movie struggles to find a cohesive identity, resulting in a confusing and unsatisfying narrative. It fails to capitalize on the potential of an action comedy, leaving viewers questioning the choices made by the writers and producers.
Personal Opinion: "The Outlaws" left a lot to be desired. The lack of humor, coupled with awkward and weird scenes, made the viewing experience tedious and unenjoyable. It felt like a missed opportunity to create an entertaining action comedy in an era where streaming platforms strive to produce high-quality content.
Conclusion: In conclusion, "The Outlaws" on Netflix disappoints on multiple levels. Its inability to deliver laughs, ineffective use of talented actors like Pierce Brosnan, and overall lackluster execution make it a regrettable viewing choice. With a weak story, zero humor, and only passable action, this film fails to meet the expectations of its genre. Consequently, I cannot recommend "The Outlaws," giving it a personal rating of 1 out of 10. Save your time and seek out more enjoyable options.
