A truly new bar for any, let alone Star Wars, series to meet. In a time, where sophomore seasons disappoint more often than not, this second season of Andor build on top of classic season 1. It's a masterclass of writing a resistance story in the backdrop of Star Wars with parallels of multiple historical events. Tony Gilroy and his writing team has shown that a great team can still write amazing original characters without relying on nostalgia bait to bring in new viewers. All actors have given their one of career best performances, and I know Emmy loves throwing all awards to one show usually (Game of Thrones, Succession) and this year Severance (amazing show btw) will be stacking in a lot fo those awards, I hope Gilroy and Stellan Skarsgård gets their deserved writing and acting awards respectively!!
