This show is aimed to simply entertain and it accomplishes that goal. It's clearly not trying to win any Emmy's, and that's fine. If you want a relaxing tv experience that will make you chuckle, this is the show for you. This show is so unserious and sometimes that's just what you need. The concept is hilarious, the father/daughter relationship isn't annoying or over done, all of the characters are quirky and add zest to the show. It's just pure silliness that can be watched at anytime. Denis Leary is still funny as ever and nothing is offensive. Joe Morton was a nice surprise, I hope he's in more episodes. I really hope this show is renewed for more seasons.
Please never have this lady pretend to be southern again. Her "accent" is the worst I've ever heard and her narration is unnecessary. I'm sure viewers can follow the story without it being interrupted with that terrible "southern" twang. The stories may be interesting, but that horrid "accent" makes the show practically unwatchable. Please, please please never do this again. Without the narration, the show is around 6 stars, but damn if that voice isn't one of the most annoying sounds.. would say, watch the show if irritating, fake, horrible, accents don't bother you. Guess a real southerner wasn't available for this project.
This franchise has not been the same since Shia LeBeouf and Megan Fox left and this iteration is the worst one yet., The plot, writing, voices, fake iron man stuff just didn't work. I honestly wouldn't have cared if Optimus Prime and the others lost the battle. Some of the performances seemed forced, trying to make us care about the sick brother just didn't work, no matter how many times they shouted out Brooklyn, it came across as inauthentic and people don't say "dead presidents" anymore. Whoever wrote this must not be from Brooklyn. The only bright spots are Dominique Fishback and the soundtrack.
