This is not a terrible Star Trek (like "Discovery"). It's okay. I find it difficult to get invested in the characters with only 46 episodes spread over five years.

The stories are okay. There have been a couple of real duds, though (the "singing" episode in year two and the "holodeck" episode in year 3). "Lower Decks" was a far superior show than "Discovery" and also better than this show. I thought "Picard" was excellent and I would like to see that be sequeled by the young(er) crew led by 7 of 9. But more than 50-odd shows... I miss the old Star Treks (especially DS9).

This show is simply awful. It should never have been made. I've watched twelve episodes, all the time waiting for this to turn into "Foundation," but I give up. This has nothing to do with Foundation. The only thing they've kept is the names (to protect the innocents, perhaps?) I don't understand how the people who produce this show are allowed to take a most-loved book, and turn it into a completely different and nonsensical story. Moreover, in and of itself, this show makes little sense. There ought to be a story-telling court, where we the fans would be able to sue the producers. It is a loathsome way to profit off of a wonderful tale. It deserves to be cancelled.
