An absolute masterpiece from francis ford coppola whit one of the greatest perfomance of all time gene hackman is just mervelous in his incredibly subtle work ( his oscar snub is a crime). The suspence is unbearable coppola direction is perfect (incredible to think this was made the same year of the godfather part 2) while harrison ford teri garr e john cazale offer strong supporting perfomance. The ending always shock no matter how many times i watch this outstanding movie. Even more so than martin scorsese taxy driver is the best the 70s have to offer about psychological thriller do not miss it.
Indy 5 have a fantastic opening sequence a oscar worthy performace from harrison ford the best villain of the saga an outstanding female lead (no marion good but better than all the other) also not a nostalgic movie at all instead is a story of 2 man that prefer to live in the past than face the present. Indiana even give up at one point but in the end make peace whit his life the way it is. This fith chapter is maybe too long e antonio banderas is wasted in a nothing part but can't imagine a better way to end the saga.
