A really good mix between absurd scenarios and the reliability of being a Glasga worker. I personally have a soft spot for anything that has a good slagging between mates.
It certainly has some rough edges that need smoothing out but my guess is that it's, like other shows that will find its feet with more episodes. I'll be interested to see what STV do with it, I looked up to see if there were another 3 episodes due to be released as British sitcoms are usually 6 episodes but I can't find anything other than a live show.
I love Auld Craw and Kaitlin, they're really like an odd couple and 'The Beaver' (the boss) I wouldn't mind being in charge of me! Some of jokes don't fully land but there are plenty to make you laugh out loud!

One of the best shows ever made in my opinion. If you're willing/ready to binge watch a series, I am sure you won't be disappointed. All of the characters are great and the show just keeps getting better.
What a journey this show takes you on... it's something really unique and holds a special place in my heart. I've seen it maybe 3 times in total now.
Some people dislike this due to the ending, but I actually liked the ending and found it quite emotional. Others may have disliked the show because when it first aired they had to wait a week every time to find out what happens next and they usually leave it on a cliffhanger where you want to know what happens or something strange is going on that you can't understand yet and it leaves some frustrated - so it's better to get the box set and binge it. As the show progresses you do start to understand some of the mysteries.
You can really get invested in this show if you let it and it can bring a lot of intrigue, joy, emotion and intense moments. Every character fits perfectly in this show.

I've been re-watching this show with my girlfriend and it's Absolutely laugh out loud funny. Exactly what you need from a sitcom, at the end of the working day to be given some laughter. The show is full of witty writing, heartwarming moments, and skilled performances from its cast, particularly Dawn French as the lady Vicar who arrives in a sleepy, yet crazy town whose occupants are expecting a male Vicar. She wins them all over eventually of course, but spends most of the time dealing with the general insanity of the village on a day-to-day basis. If you are a fan of British comedies, you should check this one out for sure. It is one of the absolute best.
