Fielding Scott, With the rest of the characters, they are experienced personalities, charming, etc.
But why smoking? And if these characters had not appeared without smoking, would that have diminished the strength of the characters in any way?
I believe that no As usual during that period from the last century (unfortunately), an abundance of the ugly and dangerous habit "smoking"!!!!
This period is full of misconceptions about smoking! Concepts that were then scientifically corrected and refined well later A Special Request from Messrs. Producers and Directors of Dramas, "Especially those interested in that period," not to have too many smoking scenes in that way!
And if there is "any possibility" to complete the work without smoking scenes (and in my humble opinion, I believe it is possible. ), all appreciation and thanks to them Because some people, especially young ones, unfortunately, are tempted by cinema and drama with flashy, "attractive" scenes containing smoking, so they rush to imitate this dangerous thing!!!
* Scientifically, smoking, in all its forms, is cigar, cigarette, shesha, or even passive smoking! It leads to slow and difficult bloodflow adequately within the various arteries of the body and not just the arteries of the heart as smoking increases the viscosity of the blood, And the benefit of blood to the body's organs is not only the delivery of food and oxygen!, but blood also contains "white blood cells," which are responsible for immunity!
We can imagine the amount of risks that any organ in the body may face, without a "sufficient degree" of immunity, against various diseases or against oxidant substances, or the so-called carcinogenic free radicals, which are present almost "regularly" in the bodies of all people. !!!
Of course, this is in addition to the damage resulting from the products of combustion itself, from carbon and otherwise.
And there are many other harmful effects of smoking that would take a long to explain.

Revenge .. unfortunately .. is the theme of the movie : Ludas maTTIE .. I was born in the eighties and of course I watched the movie .. And of course as children we were not aware of that at the time .. Unfortunately, it instills the DESIRE for revenge in the depths of innocent children,
Revenge and the "urgent desire" for revenge ... hurt its owner ( the avenger himself ) ..!! .. Yes, it hurts him psychologically ... And revenge may inflame issues and ignite them more ... But ...
