It felt like a bad mishmash of "You" and "Gone Girl," but it failed to capture the gripping storytelling of either. Despite its promising trailer, the series fell flat with its weak plot and repetitive scenes.
Oliver Jackson Cohen is unfortunately confined to a limited and one-dimensional character, playing the role of a twisted husband. Throughout the series, his character seemed to apologize and cry incessantly. I had hoped to see him in a more dynamic and diverse role, and Wilderness failed to deliver on that front.
I had hoped for an engaging and thrilling series, but instead, I got repetitive scenes. Save your time and find something else to watch.
