I was literally gritting my teeth while watching the first episode, so bad it was. It has such disrespectful and bad representation of women that it becomes almost comical. Women are either:
One star for pretty and gloomy cinematography.
- Looking like dead dolls, either killed or on a window display
- Beautiful vamp wants to have sex with an old man
- Prostitutes
- Porn movie star
- Servant workers such as secretaries and waitresses
- Wife who pays attention only to the wrinkled shirt of a man (because, of course, she's a woman - excuse my sarcasm), instead of saying something important about the murder in case.

All of us, who identify ourselves as women, are Bellas. We have gone through similar phases of girl- and womanhood, same partiarchal and societal power plays which we have tried to adapt with in order to be accepted. So yes, the movie has an empowering, liberating messsage to deliver and suck in. And I enjoyed it very much - more of these, please!
Visuals were amazing, I felt like I was inside of an artwork. Nice camera ankles, some remind of old movies. Music was interesting yet disturbing at times.
Unnecessary use of animals for entertainment and shock element, they didn't have any subjective roles.

First of all, it's not a documentary but an autobiography. An autobiography by the man itself - a sort of an advertisement of Arnold himself. That's good to remember when watching the film.
In any case, it is an impressive and inspirational autobiography. Well structured into three themes. Full of new video and photo material, funny as well. I was hoping to see more negative sides of Arnold but I guess that doesn't go in line with self-advertisement. Maybe we'll see a documentary one day that includes more of his darker sides?
As we learn from the film Arnold doesn't do anything without a purpose, so I wonder what is the goal he wants to achieve with this film?
