This is a series of fascinating profiles of some incredible stand-up comedians. Whether you're a fan of stand-up or new to the artform, you'll enjoy getting to know these talented and funny performers! I loved getting to hear perspectives that are underrepresented in comedy, and in mainstream entertainment in general.
The comedians are given space to talk freely about their work, explaining their backgrounds, influences, and overall approach to comedy. The producers wisely allow these artists and their stories to speak for themselves, and the results are utterly compelling.
Killjoy Comedy is well worth a watch, and I am eagerly awaiting the second season!
