I saw the trailer to this movie and thought, okay, this looks interesting, I'll give it a shot. And I was totally surprised. It had a slow 15 minute start, and then it took off. I was engrossed in the story, the character, I couldn't help but to feel sorry for him, and I was rooting for him at the same time. I felt like I was trapped in the room with him, lol.
When I saw the trailer, I wasn't sure about all the fighting, but when I watched it everything made sense as it was related to the plot.
And the ending, I couldn't help it, I was crying, in a good way. After everything the guy went through, I was really satisfied with the way it ended.

This is not a perfect movie, but it is to me. I have an obsession with story and specifically love stories. I like a lot of Nicholas Sparks novels and of course the Stephenie Meyer Twilight series. And maybe it's just been awhile since I seen a good love story and I feel like there hasn't many advertised, but all that to be said, I love this film.
It's an independent film and a simple one. There is a wig in the beginning that I thought was kinda funny but it was only for a couple minutes. But the writing was pretty darn good, and I read a lot of scripts. I did like all 3 leads, and the red headed guy that played the villain, but I mostly liked Melanie. I can relate to her in a lot of ways. It would be interesting if they made a second one.
