Maybe that's more of a pro than a con, but I certainly had no idea what's happening plot wise, and honestly? I think it's best taken that way.
As I said, it's a lot like a nightmare. Scenes jump around, things don't make sense, and they're kinda insane. There's gruesome horror in here, real violence and disturbing implications. It goes beyond what you might perceive originally.
Scares aplenty and special effects of tolerable quality, if you're wanting a scare and don't particularly mind the nonsense story, you're in for a treat. It's laiden with plenty of world building and tension, enough to make you forget that the story is even there.
Treat it like a dream, a horrible, terrifying dream.

Ah. Nutcracker Massacre. I haven't asked myself, aloud, ' what the hell are we watching ' before this. I don't know how long this is. I don't care about how long it is. Ideally, you won't either on the sole principle that you don't watch it.
Nonstop guy breathing into the mic, interspersed with the gentlest beatings I've ever seen, never have I witnessed someone so tentatively brutalize another human with a hammer, strangle someone with a garland, mutilate another's genitals so hard they bleed from their ears (?), all with a ginger touch.
The final showdown of gently wrestling on an astroturfed lawn with a cap gun and some plastic jewelry really cemented that I, in fact, was watching this with my own two eyes and that I, in fact, regret it. Merry Christmas and happy holidays, keep it happier by just not watching this.

Billy zane and co get up to mischief in this 80-some minute long movie.
It definitely has its moments that warrant a good chuckle, and the writing had decent flow, but it rapidly overstays its welcome.
The cinematography is kinda all over the place, and the editing leaves much to desire, what with the whole early 2000s vignette, which was the style at the time.
There's not much else to critique it on, ultimately the movie is okay and will get a few giggles out of you, it doesn't do much new. If I had to pick a specific issue, it's that it runs for way too long and boils down to them repeating the same joke for the entire span of the movie, kinda like a bad SNL skit, but they don't look at the camera after doing something they think is funny.
You could do worse, maybe it'll be right up your alley, give it a shot if you want, but you'll not miss much by skipping over it.
