Old gnostic heresy, new outfit. Scholars have disproven the authenticity of the gnostic gospels long ago. They're second century fabrications, made long after the apostles were dead.
I think it's funny that this man wants us to abandon what institutions and Christendom has preserved directly from the apostles & taught us for the past two millennia, but trust and believe in his personal interpretation 2000 years removed from Christ's life. A bit hypocritical, no?
