Okay, firstly, if you liked the original series, this series is a must watch. It has all those moments which fill your heart with love, wholesomeness, laughter and everything you hoped or made scenarios of.
Personally, I liked this series. Every episode is filled with different emotions with some episodes touching sensitive topics as well all while carefully adding humorous elements.
I love the way this season shows the different POVs of the characters and how they have portrayed different moments with each of the characters which makes a special bond between the characters and the viewers.
One of the best things about this season is the ending episode where we see Hori's special view of the graduation. It's perfect.

Darling in the Franxx is a special story of love and struggle.
While on a glace Darling might look like any other romance anime with mecha elements but it is when you watch it, you realize it's something much much more than that. The show has managed to beautifully described complex themes like love, emotions, life's worth, reason for living within its span of just 24 episodes.
The show starts slowly with some strange things happening which are a bit difficult to process and keep up, but as the show goes on it picks up the pace and starts to make more and more sense.
The well written characters is what gives the story a memorable nostalgic element and a certain depth with engaging filler episodes and plotting certain themes which we people relate with, this makes it one of the nice anime I've ever watched.
The middle episodes of the anime are boring yet pretty engaging with some of them being my favourite episodes all throughout the series as it gives depth to the plot.
The last of the episodes, from 18 till 24 that is, is remarkably one of the craziest episodes I've ever watched in ANY series. These episodes are the ones which make this show a memorable one. The amount plot twists in such a short span is pretty crazy. These episodes are a bit fast paced but they're pretty nicely written. The episodes bring all the plot together. It's like everything before was a buildup to a certain burst of everything.
The show has its flaws but that ending fills up every single one of those flaws and make it, 'the most beautifully written mecha-romance anime'.
