The ending saved this short film a bit for me. The disappointing part was the exaggeration in the story that the cleric tells. The depiction was over the top in that flashback. I wasn't expecting that one particular scene of stained dress. It was also unnecessary in my humble opinion.
More could have been explored within these 15 minutes. But keeping it with the bare minimum also works well. It was well directed.
I would definitely recommend it, however, whoever wrote the summary or the plotline on this page about "behind the door" is probably insinuating something else, which amounts to false advertisement.
