In a nutshutt, Femme is a story about the protagonist's power being stolen and their realization that the only way to get it back is to TAKE IT BACK. And the plan to do so is a story told in the narrative that is enticing, tension building and slow burn perfection.

Following an attack, Jules goes from a confident extrovert to a scared introvert. Months go by and all Jules can do is play street fighter on the couch (albeit well). Jules begrudgingly leaves their flat to go to a bath house. In doing so, a chance encounter with the attacker presents itself. Jules is curious.

Enter Preston... This is a guy who has bad tattoos and a bad attitude. But that doesn't stop Jules from being curious and that curiosity leads to a creative plan of revenge. Does Jules get their power back? You will need to watch this one to find out.

George Mackay and Nathan Stewart both execute phenomenal performances. If you're a fan on Nathan Stewart in this movie, see also the series Soulmates (Black Mirror style genre). I haven't come across George Mackay before, but equally impressed.

How well can you truly know someone you love? That is the question that you will need to ask yourself as you watch this 4-part mini-series.

The story follows Beth, a wife and mother, who finds out in the first few moments of episode one that her husband is accused of murder. From there, she starts to look more closer at her husband who has, to this point, been considered an upstanding member of the community through his elite family lineage of the Fairchilds.

Also a doctor who saves lives, Beth can't help but question if he also takes them when she starts to find clues to suggest that her adoring husband is not who she thinks he is. As the evidence mounts up, she starts to take note that he has a sinister side. Or does he?

This mini series will keep making you question what the answer is until the story gives a solid ending to wrap everything up.

This mini series is quite raw and purposely uncomfortable. Don't expect to see a hero storyline. The characters are messy and they draw you in starting with the first ep. The viewer will continue to question if they know where the show is going. Is Phil guilty of a horrendous and disgusting crime??? ...or has Penny convinced herself that certain events occurred when they actually didn't? Even Penny seems to be questioning her memory and what she really saw that night at the party. The first three episodes pack a lot of punch in terms of storyline and plot twists. Each episode only leaves more questions. The ending doesn't disappoint and you will likely be sitting there asking yourself how you couldn't see where the story was going all along. Get ready for a slight cliff hanger though with the show not quite answering one final question (although I think it's assumed it could only be answered one way with final scene). Amazing acting by Robyn Malcolm who totally steals the show.
