I'm a big fan of psychological thrillers, and "6 Souls" really worked for me. The plot takes some wild turns, but I found the shift from a scientific mystery to a supernatural horror to be a surprisingly fun ride. The way the movie builds its eerie atmosphere is what stuck with me most. It has some genuinely creepy moments that kept me on the edge of my seat.
The acting in this movie is fantastic. Julianne Moore is as great as ever, and Jonathan Rhys Meyers completely owns his role, switching between personalities so convincingly. His performance is probably the best part of the whole film. He makes the character's descent into madness feel real, even as things get supernatural.
Is it worth watching? I'd say yes, especially if you enjoy a good old-fashioned genre film with strong performances. The story is a bit out there, but if you go in with an open mind, it's a solid, unsettling thriller.

I recently watched "Stonehearst Asylum" and I was pleasantly surprised. I'd heard it was a thriller, and it completely delivered. The movie's atmosphere is what pulled me in-it felt so eerie and gothic from the start. The cast is phenomenal, with Ben Kingsley and Michael Caine giving really captivating performances that elevate the whole film.
The plot is full of smart twists and turns that kept me guessing right up to the end. It's a great little puzzle to piece together. For those wondering, it's not a remake of another film, but it is based on a short story by Edgar Allan Poe, which is a really cool fact.
So, is it worth watching? Absolutely. If you enjoy a good psychological thriller with fantastic acting and a gripping plot, you'll love this one. It's a hidden gem that deserves more attention.

The movie starts strong, really pulling you in with that "wrong place, wrong time" feeling. The lead actors, Clive Owen and Jennifer Aniston, had pretty good chemistry, and the first half kept me on the edge of my seat.
However, as the plot twists started stacking up, it began to feel a little too complicated. The intense suspense gives way to a story that gets a bit hard to believe, but it was still an entertaining watch. Vincent Cassel was great as the villain, he was genuinely unsettling.
Is it worth watching? If you're looking for a suspenseful thriller and you don't mind a few plot holes, then yes, it's a decent watch for a rainy afternoon. It's not perfect, but it does its job as a tense popcorn flick.
