I love the original movie and really wanted to love this series. I gave it a chance, but I stopped, it's rater unbearable and ruins the original for you. This is more a Gossip Girl reboot than a Cruel Intentions reboot.
The original screamed old-money sophistication. This remake into a tv series is giving modern day influencer rich, not old money. None of the mains stand out, especially not the male lead.
This could have been a good remake but casting is the issue. Ryan was deeply attractive but had a soft side. Sarah was smart, charismatic, funny, ruthless. Reese was sweet, sensitive and smart. The actors in this tv show don't have any of those things.
If you want to see Cruel Intention just watch the original Cruel Intentions movie (or even the 1988 Dangerous Liaisons with Glen Close set in the French novel's original time), don't waste your time with this low budget 2009 reboot vibe.
Pretty sure this show will be cancelled after the first season.

If this was a comedy it might have had some entertainment value. However, it's supposed to be realistic. Plot is bad, acting is bad, camera work is bad. It's all just bad, bad, bad!
Even if you have nothing to watch, don't watch this. Watch something you've already seen instead of even considering watching this. You will have no easy days watching this trash.
I have it a fair chance, I pushed myself to watch three whole episodes before I gave up. I already wanted to give up during my the first episode, but by some miracle I ended up seeing three.
Let this be your warning to not watch this show.

Nonsense series and the characters are trying way too hard. Just randomnly using some medical terms to try to be more believable.
Manu Rios as a doctor is mainly very unbelievable, should have stayed with the Elite series.
A politician who has cancer, but does not want to get treatment from a public hospital because she is a rich politician. It's all way too common, overused and just bad acting.
All characters are also just constantly angry, probably the producers thought that angry doctors would be a good thing and make them more believable. It made me skip through a lot of scenes because it was getting too tirering to watch.
