With all the extreme measures for Covid-19, the Dutch organization has succeeded in creating an enormous show and of the 20.000+ tests only contain the 'damage' to 10 infections.. of which unfortunately some were from the Icelandic delegation. The show featured 3 episodes, semi-final 1, semi-final 2 and the Grand Final. There was a lot of variation in music styles and Italy blew everyone away with their authentic and rock'n'roll vibe! It was such a great showcase to getting back to 'normal' life and that European music is still improving every year.
Met a wonderful lady and had our fifth date with this movie on the background. Started watching in the living room, but moved to the bed room where I gave her a massage. Missed most of the move, but the sound track was certainly not obtrusive and there were no loud action scenes, which made this a great background noise.
Yes, this is my favorite movie ever. Why? Terminator II provides a realistic insight into the self-destructive nature of human kind and poses a philosophical question whether the course of the future can be altered.
The deterministic thought behind the movie is that any activity happening will bring about an unchangeable and pre-determined world. Although improbable, the execution of this thought is wonderful. Skynet is formed, because someone from the future tried to prevent Skynet being formed. A hero is born, because the machines (unaware of determinism) tried to kill the hero.
And of course, last but not least, the relation between human and machine. How far will robots, androids and computers go to be of assistance? The first self-thinking processor by IBM has just been released and perhaps this is the beginning of the end. We, humans, need machines. Machines develop human traits, but kill humans.
