In no way am I a religious man. I am quite happy to believe in Jack Sparrow or Han Solo as being an inspiration as much as Jesus Christ, but this series is an incredible collection of the stories of the Messiah and his disciples.
The acting is off the chart and the production and meticulous attention to detail is breathtaking.
I was sceptical to begin with - thinking it would be just another run of the mill attempt to tell the stories of what Jesus had to go through, but it is a triumph and is beautiful to behold and is a joy to witness.
If I could give this masterpiece an eleven I would.

Still as hilarious twenty six years on.
Following the absolutely superb "Fist of Fun" Lee and Herring, along with Kevin Eldon who they carried over from Fist of Fun, transforming from the real Rod Hull and Simon Quinlack into priest Judas Incariot So many guest stars who are household names now as well.
Even Brian Cant is included doing superb voiceovers for "The organ gang".

To all those doubters who had written off the latest series of adventures of Dr Who in their latest incarnation think again.
After "Space Babies" and "The Devil's Chord" got, in my opinion, far too much unfair criticism (there were many good signs that the writers had not lost their way) we then had the excellent "Boom" which was most enjoyable and showed promise for the future.
But this, the fourth episode, "73 yards" is pure genius from the mind of Russell T Davies and smooth editing by Chris Roebuck - and I dare you not to love this clever emotion filled bundle of joy from start to finish. It has everything you need to be a rollercoaster. Watch it twice to make sure you get the full effect!
Millie Gibson steals the show - that's not a spoiler
Sian Phillips as well! What more could you want!!!! Not a spoiler either - just a delight to see her.
Please love this.
