First and foremost, this is an easy day watch. You can finish the series in just a day, and trust me, you will. I know nothing about chess, but after watching Anya Taylor Joy absolutely shred a chess board, suddenly I want to learn.
This show is 10 out of 10 stars.
The casting, the production, the storyline, the score, you name it... incredible all around.
Anya Taylor Joy does not MISS. Her whit and charm is superior. No one else could have delivered a more perfect Beth Harmon than she did.
Not all Netflix Originals make their mark but The Queens Gambit hit the nail on the head, and left no crumbs. The cinematography was superlative at best!
Absolutely exquisite, I have already re watched many times.
The 11 EMMY awards were much deserved.
