The lead bad guy just cannot act through a scene. Every once in awhile the kid can hold you in a scene but then he tries to be a badass and it feels like your brother's improv performance in front of his first live audience. Maybe this was everyone's first film in this genre? Because they all seemed so very new at the action and dialogue combo. Like it was watching their first time trying to walk and chew gum and whomever set it up was totally making fun of them and that ignorance. I didnt realize until the end who his daddy is but then it kinda made sense. It feels like the younger version of the guy in that Tom Cruise movie tried action films and was like 'nah I will stick to romcoms!' And he would be correct. Dylan also felt very first time in this kinda role but better than the lead.

I was eager to watch this because of the female lead. She usually just explodes onto a scene and takes it over with her comedic energy but after the first couple of episodes that buzz was gone - and all I see are some Autistic Writers who dont know they are Autistic and making a pretty blonde dress up as Sherlock's Street Date and calling it another Walter Obrien cause of high IQ. Nah - the US Writers are all stuck regurgitating other people's work (France) and dressing the Smart Women up like Punky Brewster is still a thing. It is not. We know Autism now when we see it - so maybe get better writers for Season Two or this lead has zero to work with from Writers to Designers to apparantly blind Directors. You are *really* missing out on some High Potential Acting from this woman and it just looks and feels like you are putting lipstick on a pig (not the Actor - she oozes talent) its the Support Team who just have hit a wall with creativity. Like across the board. You will get bored fast.

I gave this twp episodes to sort itself out pace or tempo wise - but that never happened. All the actors seemed to be mar hing and delivering lines on my screen in a way that fel so disjointed that I struggled very very much to stay "in" anything I was watching. I wanted to double screen almost immediately. The lead actor is one of my faves from Leverage - but something about this Show did not help to showcase anything that made me adore hum in any other thing he has done.

I keep mentioning the overall BLAH of this because it REALLY doesn't feel like this MEH is coming from acting talent but grom someone somewhere thinking this is an acceptable oace for a SERIES. Because it is NOT - if you are going to lul me to sleep at least make it memorable. I tried watching it last week and this is all I can remember. None of the plot or the words stuck with me.

The timing struggle is REAL here - and that makes this unwatchable for me.
