Watched the first series and it was watchable enough. Agree with the comments elsewhere, do we really need the singing, seems more like a vanity project.
Started the second series and only got half way through the first episode and I just don't have the patience for this series anymore.
The stoic police consultant, the Mr Big criminal, the detectives that are unable to solve crimes without the help of the stoic police consultant, the clever legal brief who is able to get a criminal released in 5 minutes much to the chagrin of the detectives... If you like this type of formula then have at it. Personally I think there's too many of this type of show now and they're becoming more and more far fetched.

Really enjoyed series 1 and looked forward to series 2 but felt disappointed after watching it all.
Danny Dyer is a joy, not a character actor by any stretch, just plays Danny Dyer and it's great to watch, Ryan Sampson on the other hand plays the down at heel loser only not as likeable as Grumio in Plebs or witty as Tommo in Brassic, this time I found the character just annoying.
Plotwise, it was always a vehicle for series 3, people liked series 1 so make as many more as you can, it worked for Brassic (to an extent). I just came away from series 2 thinking "was that it?".
