I'm an avid reader of crime fiction having read most offerings from the likes of James Patterson, Lee Child, Michael Connelly, Mark Billingham and David Baldacci, to name a few, so tend to watch crime programmes both US and UK.
I also enjoy crime series from Europe with Channel 4s 'Walter Presents' providing some excellent viewing.
I have an extensive and eclectic Blu Ray collection featuring mainly action and SciFi movies (I get bored easily which you might be able to tell from my reviews).

  • Awesome Fun

I don't play computer games so had no pre-conceived ideas of what this should be like.

    It didn't disappoint.

Funny, crazy, mad, zany and above all that, extemely brutal.

Sweet Tooth is without doubt the best character in it, he leads the way when it comes to insane brutality.

At around 30 mins an episode it is a fast and furious cacophony of noise, action, blood and insanity.

I wouldn't recommend for the squeamish.

  • Outstanding

I have to disagree with reviewer Lorraine-113, this was an outstanding series with plenty of nailbiting moments and intrigue.

The spies act as one would expect when concerning emotion, they don't show it as it would be seen as a sign of weakness.

There are plenty of edge of your seat moments and more than a few plot twists.

The bad guys were that good you want to see them die painfully as their brutality knew no bounds.

This beats watching the detritus that is British TV which seems to be more concerned with naff humour, terrible reality shows, quizzes and cookery shows.

  • Not Great

I don't get all the hype around this show.

Butchers use of the C word shows very little imagination from the writers apart from the need to shock, he is unlikable even more so than some of the pathetic supes.

Homelander is a pretentious, self obssessed, narcissist bore (they could have got Trump to play this part and he would have made a better fist of it. The Deep is a pointless character while the whole Vought enterprise is farcical using supes to cover up a drugs empire!

I got part way through series two and decided not to waste anymore time watching Urban ham it up, Starr cock it up and the rest balls it up.
