If you enjoyed the movie "Gangs of New York", you should enjoy this series. Enough twists and turns to keep most viewers engaged, with great action scenes. Warning though as many of the scenes are quite violent and gruesome. Very graphic sex scenes and topics as well.

The acting is excellent across the board, though some do shine brighter than others. So many story lines woven together with characters that viewers would love to see meet their demise along the way and enough characters you will want to see triumph through the adversity. Overall this is a binge worthy series for mature viewers.
