Approaching "The Lost Immortal King," I harbored hope for discovering a gem within the fictional genre akin to "One Punch Man," "Mob Psycho 100," or "Mashle." Narratives resembling the comics of Superman, where the protagonist stands at the pinnacle of power, have always intrigued me. The allure of these stories lies in witnessing how they navigate their "challenges" in life, which are reflections of their personality and dictate their actions.
Yet, this series, despite its acclaim in China, fails to stand out among numerous similar tales. Compared to its counterparts, the main plot and series development feel lackluster, missing humor, a defined personality for the protagonist, and depth in characters. The absence of dynamism in their thoughts or actions, coupled with a powerful but dull protagonist devoid of charisma, leaves much to be desired. Although it's hinted that he must control his emotions, even slight glimpses of these are missing.
The series falls into cliché scenarios and characters, both locally and globally, without offering anything new. While its animation, sound quality, and artistic style deserve acknowledgment, those in search of an engaging plot, rich story, or memorable characters might face disappointment.
"The Lost Immortal King" had the potential to be a valuable addition to the genre but falls short in several key areas. Visually stunning yet narratively lacking, it might not be a journey worth taking.

My initial experience with 'My Daemon' was tinged with skepticism. At first glance, the series seemed to me like a marketing parody of Pokémon wrapped in a veil of dark fantasy. However, I'm pleased to admit my preconceptions were misplaced. Although the beginning didn't fully capture my attention, the plot progressively intensified, awakening a growing interest to continue the journey.
The protagonist's journey, set in a post-apocalyptic world populated by Pokémon-style creatures, becomes increasingly serious and complex. It's true that the anime initially lacks a touch of epicness, and some characters may seem superficial or one-dimensional. However, as the story unfolds, we encounter more profound and three-dimensional characters, aware of the repercussions of their actions.
'My Daemon' is a blend of positive and negative elements that together form an absorbing experience. Although I'd love to delve deeper into the aspects I enjoy most about this work and those I consider flaws, doing so would mean revealing too much of the plot, and it's not my intention to spoil the surprise.
In summary, I highly recommend giving this series a chance. Despite a start that might not be entirely convincing, 'My Daemon' promises an exciting and nuanced journey. You won't regret embarking on this attempt at a "realistic" voyage through a devastated world.

From the moment your gaze falls upon the film's poster, you brace yourself for a comedic ride, anticipating the cinematic fiasco that's about to unfold. Venturing into the theater, laughter was expected but instead, I was greeted by a parody of Dragon Ball so audaciously flawed it borders on comic genius. This film attempts to ground the beloved saga in reality but strays so far from its inspiration it seems the creators set out to disappoint.
Efforts to mirror Dragon Ball's essence end up resembling reflections in a carnival's distorted mirror: warped, bizarre, and unintentionally hilarious. This cinematic endeavor serves as a masterclass in how not to execute a parody, blending misplaced sarcasm, misguided satire, and a remarkable inability to hit any target. Those seeking laughter will find it, not in the script, but in marveling at how spectacularly this film fails to capture what made the original so great.
In a twistedly ironic way, it becomes the perfect comedy: its misalignment so egregious, laughter is the only response to its boldness. With over 600 characters of critique, this review highlights the film's journey from potential to comedic folly, marking "Dragon Ball Evolution" as an unintentionally humorous chapter in the Saiyan saga.
