I'm suprised, that this didn't already has a review. I consider this movie top tier and I think it's criminaly underrated. First of all, the characters are actually written and they have personalities. Also the story seemed very thought through, and well planed, there wasn't any unnecessary parts. But this movie gets very dark, very fast. It contains rape, homophobia, murder, child murder, prostitucion, heavy trauma and even more. I genuinely had to stop it every five minutes just to walk around my room. It is a very hard watch and you have to have the guts for it, that's why i couldn't get myself to rewatch it yet.
The actors and the acting is amazing. Yu Inaba portays the feelings so well, it felt like it was based on a real story. Kenshin Endo also did amazing with his character. They were very suited for their roles and had great chemistry together. The emotions felt raw and very moving.
The only thing that thrown me off a bit was the ending, but I wont go into detail. I just couldn't stop crying for like half an hour after it, because it was so amazing.
I recommend this movie if you're already used to dark japanese movies or you just want to start getting into them. The main focus is not on the romance, but the mc's healing journey, so if your only looking for a bl this is probably not it. But if you like deep and psychological movies like me this is a must watch!:3.

I don't even know how to get started on this. It's been a while since I saw this movie, so my memories are not that fresh, but theres no way I'm watching this again. The whole movie felt VERY disgusting. Starting of with the student-teacher relationship, it was very uncomfortable. The way the teacher kissed him while he was sleeping AND while he was a minor, I almost quited the movie. Later on the teacher even blames the boy for what happened to him after he got transfered, because he kissed one of his students. Basically, the main character gets blamed for everything. But idk why im talking about the plot, because this movie was 80% p*rn. It was a struggle to get through those parts, because some had very nasty kinks and it felt insanely yucky.
I watched both endings, and I definetly liked the ,,noire" one more, but it still wasn't great. Idk what to say about the characters, because their personalitys are just basically wanting to hook up with the main character.
Overall, this movie is built on big age gap relationships and hook up scenes and as someones who's disgusted by that I didn't enjoyed it at all. But if it's your cup of tea I listen, and I don't judge:')

Tonight, i decided to watch this movie, because it has been in my watchlist for a while. I think I hyped it up in my brain, because I've seen it being mentioned a lot. No matter where I searched, I could only find this movie in a microwave quality. I was 10 minutes in and I already didn't know what was going on. The characters weren't written and it seemed like the story was also pretty rushed. The ,,kiss scenes" weren't really that, they either didn't show it at all or kissed eachothers chin and I get it's because of the heavy censores of China, but still it was very funny. I could only manage watching it for five minutes before checking how much is still remaining from it.
But overlooking the bad things it was very entertaining. Half of the time I didn't know what was going on and it was extremally unrealistic, but still a fun watch.
Overall, I think I only recommend it if you're very bored or you're just looking for something dumb, but I'll defenietly never watch this again, unless I'm forcing my friends to suffer through it with me.:)
