What a beautiful series! I absolutely loved this travel journey of two handsome men exploring Scotland together. It became even more interesting knowing that the two friends have contrasting traits: Jung Hae-in, with his introverted personality and charm of calmness, and Yim Siwon, with his extroverted personality and charm of excitement.
The series was filled with mesmerizing views of Scotland's scenic landscapes. It was so soothing to watch that I completed the entire series in one go without getting distracted. Watching the two friends bond, laugh, and share genuine moments was heartwarming.
The two friends having fun, enjoying meals at different eateries, walking, and taking pictures (with Hae-in capturing professional shots and Siwon taking more casual ones) was delightful. Also, I especially loved the part where they went grocery shopping and cooked a delightful meal together, appreciating each other's dishes-it was such a joy to watch and so heartwarming.
In short, it's a beautiful series to watch-a true treat for the eyes. It's an endearing reminder of the beauty of friendship, exploration, and the simple joys of life. Truly a must-watch!

It breaks my heart to see the ratings of this drama and learn how that the makers had to cut down the episodes from 16 to 12 due to unsatisfactory feedback. I believe, the impatient world wasn't ready for such a slow-burn but healing story.
This drama isn't for everyone. I truly felt the emotions of the characters as if I were walking alongside them. I cried, I laughed, I got angry, I grew curious, I felt deeply emotional-almost as if I was falling in love with them together. I loved how the actors put so much effort into bringing their characters to life.
The storyline was unique, though quite confusing in the first episode. It's definitely worth giving a shot. I felt the warmth of LOVE as real. The LOVE that male protagonist portrayed felt so unreal for this realistic minded world. I am in love with the fact how they showed the healing power of LOVE. If love can give you scars, it can also heal you by the time. I am happy to see how he was healed by the warmth of LOVE and made the wise decision to move on from his past by accepting someone else's LOVE.
Also, The music was beautiful and soothing. The visuals were stunning-felt like a treat for my eyes.
The makers had to rush the ending and condense the story from 16 to 12 episodes, but they did a great job and delivered a beautiful and satisfying ending.
This K-drama is truly an underrated gem and deserves to be seen. I love this drama, not only because I'm a fan of Jung Hae-in, but also because of its sheer beauty.
If you haven't watched it yet, please give it a shot-with a bit of patience.

There are many people in the reviews comparing One Spring Night with Something in the Rain. While both dramas share the same director and lead male actor, they are entirely different stories that tackle distinct issues. Other than the commonalities in the director and the actor, every aspect of these two shows is different on its own way. I have watched and loved both, and I believe the comparison is baseless. Since this review is about One Spring Night, I'll stay focused on it.
One Spring Night is a beautifully crafted drama with a warm and heartfelt story. It highlights the complexities of human desires, reminding us that it's okay to prioritize our own happiness. The story breaks the stereotype of staying in a relationship out of obligation to family, even when love has faded. This is a reality for many women who remain in unfulfilling relationships due to societal and familial pressure, and the drama addresses this issue with sensitivity and realism.
Another important aspect of the story is the portrayal of a man named Yu Ji-Ho who has a child from a previous relationship. After being betrayed by his former partner, who left him and their child unannounced, he loses faith in love. But when a woman named Lee Jeong-In enters his life, she helps him realize that the warmth of love can heal even the deepest wounds and the power of love is beyond every obstacle. And helped him gain confidence in love and as well in him.
I love the entire concept of the show. The casting was impeccable, and the acting was top-notch. The performances felt so raw and genuine that I was hooked from start to finish. Earlier, I mentioned that I became a fan of actor Jung Hae-in after watching Something in the Rain. But now, I have also become a fan of the director, Ahn Pan-Seok, for his ability to take on such challenging narratives and portray them so perfectly. I will definitely look forward to his future projects, as well as Jung Hae-in.
In conclusion, One Spring Night is a hidden gem that deserves all the love and appreciation it can get. Its story, performances, and emotional depth make it a must-watch for anyone seeking a drama with heart, meaning, and realism.
