Stranger Things is brilliant!
I only started it because literally, everyone wouldn't shut up about it. So yeah, I had "expectations," but I couldn't really even tell myself what they were. I was just... expecting something good. And wow, it delivered. But in the weirdest way, it gave me the opposite of whatever I thought I was gonna get, and somehow it was still amazing.
Hot take: this might be one of the best TV shows ever made. And, surprisingly, it's probably one of my all-time favourites now.

This show, this show, this show...
Little Einsteins CREATED me. Alongside Doc McStuffins, this used to be the reason I waited in front of the TV screen every dawn at 5 or 6 AM on the weekends, either Saturday or Sunday.
This show gave me hope, knowledge, musical attributes, artistic insights, a space for creativity, and imagination. Thank you to whoever created this show! It made me who I am now. Just know that there's someone out here who's forever grateful for the work you guys did!

I must say, One Tree Hill changed me, my perspectives, my outlook, even parts of my soul. Some changes were for the better, others... well, they wrecked me.
This show is complicated. It's beautiful, emotional, and at times, painfully heavy. After finishing it (I stopped before the last two seasons, after Peyton and Lucas left), I felt an emptiness that stayed with me for weeks. I couldn't focus in school, and I couldn't feel much of anything. It was like the story had taken over my head and heart, and then left me with this strange, overwhelming silence.
Don't be fooled, it may look like a cosy, Gilmore Girls-style comfort show from the outside, but it's not. It dives into love, loss, betrayal, and the raw messiness of growing up. It's not an easy watch. It demands emotional resilience and leaves you questioning things you didn't even realise you would.
For me, the experience was both incredible and exhausting. I loved this show, truly. But it's not something I could ever rewatch. Once was enough, and that one time will stay with me forever.
