Akshay Kumar fan? Like leave your brains at home comedy? Fan of funny one liners? If you have answered any of this yes, go and see the movie cauz it has it all. Let me start with the star cast. The movie had some popular bollywood stars who looked gr8 in the their character. One of the main reasons it dragged me to this movie was to see Akshay's & ranvir together. Akshay Kumar's performance was far too good like always. Ranvir was also good, but he was made a serious character in this movie which he pulled off well, but doesn't really suit him. Om Puri was good as well but not too much was there in store for him. Surprisingly, for the first time i liked neha dupia. She suited and played perfectly her role. Katrina looked stunning and again limited with her acting. Javed's performance was as usual excellent. The story was simple and good and direction was not bad at all. The way they went off the with the film, i was not bored and don't think any of people in the cinema were. The song bas ek king was superb and i think that will be one of the top attractions for the movie. Overall gr8 songs, good acting and a must watch was akshay's fans.
First of all i would like to start with saying that it is a very good movie. I know it is inspired by a Korean movie, but the Indian touch given is awesome. I went to watch this movie only because i am a fan of Ranvir and liked nearly all his movies like mixed doubles, mithya(one of his best), etc. To no surprise, ranvir was way too good. He is a natural actor and really made the movie worth watching. His face reactions were very good and malika wasn't that bad. But to some point i think she didn't pull the role that good. I went with my 3 friends and only i enjoyed the movie. If you have loved before or are in love then you will really understand how it feels. So go and enjoy the film.
Schedule being completely packed, i finally got Saturday afternoon off and decided to go and see TDK. As soon as i reached the cinema hall, i was told by my friend that TDK was completely sold out so instead he got the tickets of mission istaanbul. I went in half hearted and as the movie went on i started enjoying it a little. The start was good which made the movie fun for a bit. Vivek's role in the first half of the movie was pretty good as they showed him some mystery man kinda character. They were able to build some suspense at the start, but they dropped the ball in the middle only when the movie turned out to be predictable. Fun was lost before the interval. I think they had rushed in a few scenes which wasn't quiet necessary. I wont spoil anything for you if you wanna really see this movie. End was like a typical Hindi movie which was pretty boring and we all have seen ends like these 1000s of times. Overall acting was average, nothing special. Just an extra ordinary movie. Anyways i am sure, by promos only not many of you may develop high hopes for the movie. Overall i would say start was good, but it went boring after a bit. If you like Hindi action movies and like to see single man taking on 100s of enemies then stop reading this review and go watch the movie.
