The lead couple didn't have a good chemistry. I've seen Takeru Satoh in a couple of other shows & his personality is always the same. Facial expressions are solemn & never change which makes him boring. He's nice looking & with a warmer & friendlier face everyone would fall in love with him. Fula Koshiba is beautiful & seems warm & loving. The writers didn't include very much affection in the show. The leads rarely held hands or kissed. He seemed more like her friend & not someone in love with her. The majority of the show is about Reina & I became bored. It was too much. In place of some of that would have been nice to see more of the lead couple as a couple. I loved the chef. He is so adorable. It was sad not to see him & the sister get together. He could have asked her to go to France with him. All in all the show is ok. Not one I would watch again.
I am disappointed. This is a series about children and their mothers. No romance at all which is what I like in these shows. That being said, there is no chemistry between the two leads. They seem like great friends and not a couple in love. The lead actress's mother in the show is too whiny. Her brother looks like he's 12yrs old dating a 35 yr old. I am fast forwarding through a lot of it. I will see it through to the end since I've invested so much time watching already. The entire series is longgg and drawn out. Not sure what message they are trying to send but it's boring. The lead actress is very monotone. She has no expressions & is just blah. I'm sorry I started this series and will not be a show I recommend.
What I like about this show is that there are under 10 people to find someone to date & not 30 episodes. And no fighting. Totally opposite of the bachelor which I no longer watch & haven't in a few years. What I don't like on Singles Inferno is that there is no physical contact. They don't hold hands until the very last few minutes of the last episode & definitely no kissing. It's weird. To me it's not the norm for people trying to figure out if they want to date this person. Kissing & hand holding are normal & innocent expressions & emotions people show to one another to let them know if they are interested in each other & to take the relationship to the next level/dating. The lack of this makes the show somewhat boring after a while. Things need to be spiced up!!!
