Faith films can easily be a hit or miss experience for most people. Eddie McClintock is not an unknown actor. He's an experienced veteran and his presence in the film, even if it was small, assured me that this movie was not some local amateur church project. I understand this was a first feature for the production team that made this film, but you could see the level of experience in every aspect of the process. The actors performance ranged from adequate to outstanding. The photography was beautiful and the story was engaging and realistic, without all the religious fluff that many faith films attempt to shove down your throat.
It's obvious that the film was working with a limited budget, but it's not the quality of the film, but the impact they were able to make with what they were given to work with, that comes across as highly impressive. I applaud this company for an outstanding job and look forward to what comes next from them. This would be a step in the right direction for faith films to follow.
