Absolutely loved it! <3
The screenplay was so stunningly beautiful - captured the mother-daughter relationship in such a relatable way that it felt like peeking into my own life at times...
The dynamics were portrayed with such realism, it was honestly so touching to watch, I know many people can really see themselves in one if not both of the main characters. Ironically enough, it was my own mom who first told me about this film before it was even released.
ALSO! The cinematography! Oh my god! Combined with the emotional journey of the movie it was truly moving me to tears - while originally watching the trailer I was afraid that the usage of the neon lights would feel a bit excessive in the movie, but the visual part was complimenting the story perfectly.
Overall, a very heartfelt and emotional film!
