This is a heart warming short film.
One man always helps anything and anybody. At first, people who see his helping seems like be astonished. Also, his effort can't be related to great results. But, he doesn't give up helping. Everyday, he gives the dog his food and help people who sell something on the street. Also, he helps others. One day, his life is change.
I think this film's country may be developing country. We understand the differences between a developed country and developing country. Therefore, viewers tend to feel emotions about his action. In case of Japan, I have never seen one situation which helping others in financial need.
I like this film. It's because, when I watched this film, I was about to cry. It's a emotional ending happens. After watch this film, I want someone to help like such a man. Also you feel that you want to do too. It's a very short film, you watch it anytime. So, I recommend you to watch this.

The Lunch Date is an American short black and white film from 1989. It wasmade by Adam Davidson. In this film, the main characters are an upper classlady and a homeless man in the big station. The woman tries not to miss her train. She runs with short steps. Then she bumps into a black man wearing black glasses. She can't get on the train, so she decides to take a rest inside the station cafe. Then she meets the homeless man and has an adventure.
The main characters are rich or poor. To understand differences between them, her clothes seem very expensive. On the other hand, the homeless man wears cheap clothes and has a black plastic bag like a garbage bag. This makes the storyworld of the movie clear for us. Also, action has the same function. She is an upper class lady, so she acts gracefully. But the man, at first, behaves as if he doesn't know how to behave.
I like this movie. There is a foreshadowing between them. But I don't know that at first. When I saw this film again, I understand their encounter at the station. I know the importance of foreshadowing, so I recommend you to watch this film.
