This live-action adaptation of an anime shines brightly with its compelling storyline, superb performances, exquisite costumes, and high-tech special effects.

Gong Jun acts as Dongfang Yuechu, who evolves from a boy sheltered by Tushan into a powerful individual. He strives for goodness, aiming to create a world where humans and demons coexist peacefully without mutual slaughter. He loves the female lead, Tushan Honghong, prioritizing her in everything he does. He heals her wounds, cooks for her, and protects her, even at the cost of his own life. Yuechu cares deeply for all the foxes in Tushan, working tirelessly to change some of the inherent prejudices held by humans.

Yang Mi acts as Tushan Honghong, who is cold on the outside but kind-hearted, sees her joining hands with Yuechu to create a beautiful and peaceful world. Wei Zheming plays the third prince of Aolai Kingdom, the most powerful demon. He assists Honghong and Yuechu in building their ideal world and shares a notable love story with Tushan Yaya. Supporting characters like Yan Ruyan, Lü Qianwen, Butai, and the guards also deliver commendable performances. Even the villains are outstanding. This series is definitely worth watching.
