Look, I do like this show, in fact I'd consider it quite good for a Kuromi centric series, however the main issue is that the episodes are way too short. This whole plot feels very rushed and it feels like there's too much going on. HOWEVER, this show is not bad at all, as I mentioned, I like it a lot and for a Kuromi centric series, it's very well done. Let me bring up the positives.
1. The comedy is really funny Seriously, the chemistry that everyone has with one another is so funny. The really bounce off each other so well. I also LOVE the 4th wall breaking, I thought that was really well done!
2. The voice acting in FANTASTIC.
Kuromi's voice in this series fits so well. Diana Garnet brings this character to life so well. She's on par with Jenny Yokobori (She voices the character in Hello Kitty and friends supercute adventures) for the best voice for Kuromi. Baku also sounds really good too. Very happy this got an english dub!
3. The new characters are a lot of fun I really like the addition of Kuromi having a "big sister." It adds a lot of emotional depth and makes her adventure more significant to her, and really makes this feel like an actual quest. The other new characters are a lot of fun too.
4. The ending is really bittersweet..... albeit rushed The ending is very heartbreaking and you may actually tear up if your not prepared, the twist is literally out of nowhere and really impactful. However, it's VERY Rushed. Like I mentioned, these episodes are EXTREMELY short. These are just 2 minutes. I felt like they could've been longer. It would've made the ending a LOT More impactful and maybe I WOULD have been crying.
Overall, while this show is very good, I feel like there was also missed potential, like something was missing that could've made this a true MASTERPEICE. I feel like this could've benefited more if it was a feature length film. Making this whole story feature length just sounds like the right thing to do. It would have added more depth to the characters, makes the adventure more grand than it already is, and more importantly, make the ending feel a lot more earned. Overall, I'd give this an 8/10. Defiantly recommend it, but if your a massive Kuromi fan like I am and anticipate this to be a masterpeice.... Well.... I'd lower those expectations a little bit because you'll be massively disappointed if you DO go in with those high expectations.

This is pretty much what you'd expect, supercute adventures! It's fun, light hearted, and hilarious too. Seriously some of these jokes will fly over kids heads, it's that clever in the writing department. This is coming from someone who had no clue about much of Sanrio (other than Hello Kitty because she was everywhere when I was little LMAO) up until March 2024 when I first watched it (In part because of my girlfriend and the fact I was playing VRChat and they had a Hello Kitty Popcorn Machine in a waiting room that played the theme song over and over again). Now, I'm gonna go out and say that I'm a guy, who's 18 and a senior in school and has autism, so If it was February 2024, I would have not even heard of this show. It was after I started playing VRChat with some friends that I noticed that popcorn machine in the lobby (it was a limited time btw) and heard the theme song play over and over again. The only thing related to Hello Kitty that I had seen was in a commercial that featured other characters like Felix The Cat and Danny And the Dinosaur in a bunch of CD Rom games from Fox Interactive that played right before my VHS Of Dr Suess On The Loose (A VERY Random VHS For it to appear on but moving on), which I absolutely loved as a kid and still do now btw, and that was it. That was the only memory of Hello Kitty I had as a kid. There are other moments in my life where I remember her briefly but I always associate my earliest memories of Hello Kitty with that commercial on a Dr Suess related VHS. But getting back to this, upon seeing the popcorn machine in VRChat, my curiosity got the best of me and I decided to check out some of the hello kitty shows, and I came across this one. I was really impressed by how well written it was, even for modern kids show standards. It almost reminds me of Bluey in a way, where it's incredibly wholesome, not to the point of "oh this is gonna make you cry" but to a point of "aw that's cute and cozy." The voice acting is also really good (Shoutout to Jenny Yokobori's amazing performance of Kuromi I loved it so much and she's the best Sanrio character and no one can change my mind!), they all sound like what the characters would sound like. Badtz Maru has a devious, but still somewhat caring tone to his voice, Hello Kitty has a sweet, innocent, charming, and good nurtured tone to her voice, My Melody has a fun, adorable, and light hearted tone to her voice, and Kuromi has a feisty, yet good meaning tone to her voice. The voice acting is among the strongest I've seen in anything in a long time, you could tell they were having a blast! I could go over all the characters but we'd be here all day! The animation is also really nice to look at. I've always loved 2D animation more than Computer Animation (Peanuts fanatic talking here lol) so It was nice to see them go with the 2D route (then again, 95% of Sanrio's TV Series are either 2D animated or pure Anime). I also like that all the characters get time to shine. This is the best show Sanrio has done and that's saying a lot. (Onegai My Melody is one of the funniest things I've ever seen, I literally watch that show for the facial expressions and memes alone LMAO, and the 1990s Hello Kitty and Friends is also REALLY wholesome and emotional at times too, trust me that's a topic for when I review it here on IMDB). Highly recommend this show even if you haven't watched anything related to Sanrio, I think this is a nice introduction to those who are curious about it. I was defiantly one of those people. 10/10, highly recommend.
