I had a great time watching this movie! I do believe this movie was made for kids, but having played mindcraft growing up, I did enjoy the references. I haven't touched mine craft in a good while and since watching this film it has made me want to hop back on! At first I was not sure how to feel about Jack Black playing as Steve, but by the end of the film I really enjoyed his role. I do only wish that there had been a more in depth backstory for some of the main characters. It felt like all the focus was on Jason Momoa's character the most. I saw a lot of reviews complaining about the CGI but I didn't have an issue with it and it really felt like they put a lot of effort into it. Overall this movie should be a fun watch and not taken too seriously.
