Watch the trailer, it spoils the big actions scenes in the movie. The opening "big" scene, which involves a plane crash, is shown at length. Think of the level of openers in Roger Moore James Bond films, it's that silly. She nails the landing!
The movie is full of those "impossible" situations which actually aren't suspenseful because the movie would end - like a Rambo film. The gas station flame thrower is completely unrealistic.
It's watchable if you like Foxx and Diaz because it has to be, the plot is just dumb. Glenn Close, not a favorite of mine, is the most interesting character in the film. "Cute kids" who are barely more than props.
The ending implies a sequel, please NO!!!

The first half of this movie wastes a lot of time with filler from ten years earlier when the two protagonists are in training for their paramilitary jobs. Really doesn't add much but the plot is so thin they needed it.
It's maybe a 60 minute story s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d thin.
Another subplot is with a friend and his family, which occupies a lot of screen time only to serve as a plot tool near the end. Again, short on story, long on s-t-r-e-t-c-h.
It would also have helped an american audience if there was some clear explanation of the organization they had trained for; one can guess to an extent (is it a swat team?) but I looked it up on the internet instead.
After watching it, I look forward to completely ignoring a potential sequel.
