It breaks my heart to have to bid farewell to the jurassic park/world franchise again but i fear that the state of this would indicate exactly that.

Weirdly inconsistent writing, poorly utilized assets (neither the dinosaurs nor the monstrous hybrids seem that present in the film) and there are only a few minutes that actually feel like a jurassic park/world film (the beautifully shot scene with the titanosaurs) whilst the rest feel like bits of scripts from other cancelled sci-fi projects cobbled together so that certain iconic moments from the franchise can be recreated or referenced in peculiar and off-putting ways...as for the genetically modified elephant in the room: the new monstrous hybrids are featured in the film for less than 10 minutes and in no way affect the plot by being monstrous hybrids (in other words, they coulda just had some more REAL species of dinosaurs rather than shoe-horning in a Queen Xenomorph rip-off and some avian gargoyles). They were cool in it of themselves but were hardly featured and seemed to belong to a much better unmade original sci-fi blockbuster rather than as set-pieces for the tentpole-death-of-a-franchise.

I remember i felt this way when seeing Jurassic Park III in the theatres (especially after Spino killed the Rex...i knew that was a cinematic death rattle)...enjoying the film but knowing that it was the end of an era as it were. This time, however, it feels like the only way forward would be a hard-remake in 10-15 years ~or~ creating more media akin to Camp Cretaceous, Jurassic Park Survivor and Jurassic Park Evolution (animation and games) which i feel are truer successors to the original Jurassic Park trilogy and Jurassic World (not its mediocre sequels or this most recent garish attempt at a soft-reboot).

Hell, an anime would be amazing! Look at the most recent entry into the terminator franchise as an example of what a well written anime can add to a franchise..oh well, opportunities lost.

Wait for streaming on this one folks...it is definitely NOT worth the price of admission...and this is coming from the owner of the largest collection of official jurassic park/world toys in the state of Georiga.

You've missed the entire point of Sentai Daishikkaku (Go Go Loser Ranger) if that's why you're here. Most of the bad reviews seem to be from the same people who got mediocre grades because they only read half of the directions and assumed the rest. This show was never supposed to have anything to do with the power rangers other than its references to the japanese shows from which american studio-execs chopped and screwed into western teen drama.

First of all, this is an ode to Super Sentai series AND SFX shows like it (Kamen Rider, Ultraman, etc.) - hence the ACTUAL title: Sentai Daishikkaku

i saw someone attempted to compare the choreography of human actors in a 90s action show to that of animated superheroes and monseters in a modern over-the-top, self-aware anime...that seems counterproductive when writing a review .

Power rangers is not super sentai but merely an american teen drama with super sentai action-scenes interspersed and as such the references to power rangers are merely coincidental. Google it.

Fans of anime, however, will love this refreshing narrative amongst the choking isekai (nothing against it, but its nice to have something OTHER than isekai)...its narrative is closer to The Boys than Power Rangers and be forewared, the protagonist is one of the nameless monster footsoldiers, but it is that narrative choice that puts this programme above the rest as far as originality, sense of humor, etc.
